Speaking on Sunday, Ogola noted that increasing public displeasure against Kenya Kwanza administration could lead to a ballot revolution in the 2027 General Elections.
Prof Ogola cautioned that the next election will be a referendum on President Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza administration and his governance style.
Taking issue with recent remarks from the Head of State, Prof Ogola noted that the upcoming general elections will be marked by calls for serious accountability, democratic rights.
“If demanding our constitutional rights makes us terrorists, then Ruto must know it’s him vs. the terrorists, and there will be a terrorist revolution at the ballot to send him home,” he asserted.
Ogola warned Ruto to allow room for dissent and positive criticism instead of using intimidation to force submission.
“President William Ruto needs to regain the trust of Kenyans. He should allow room for dissent and constructive criticism.” he advised.
