"President Ruto Have no Right to Kick Me Out of UDA" Furious Gachagua's Ally Maintain His Stance

Murang'a Senator Joe Nyutu, a close associate of former Deputy Rigathi Gachagua, has responded to demands for his resignation from the UDA party.

On Monday, January 5, the Senator confirmed his continued membership in the United Democratic Alliance party, asserting that he would remain there until he chooses to leave voluntarily.

The senator, who has become a staunch critic of President Ruto, emphasized that he will pursue a new mandate under Gachagua's DCP party once he leaves UDA.

He claims that despite his political disagreements with the UDA, President Ruto does not have the authority to expel him from the party that facilitated his election to the Senate.

Nyutu justified his position by recalling that President Ruto employed a similar strategy during his tenure as Deputy President when he had a falling out with his superior, the 4th President, Uhuru Kenyatta.

After the fallout, Ruto continued to be a member of the Jubilee party, disregarding calls for him to exit the party and resign from his Deputy President role.
