Viral Photos Of Rider Who Earned 10,000 In A Day By Carrying Fans To See iShowspeed

A boda boda rider in Nairobi made Ksh10,000 in just one day by giving fans rides as they chased after American internet star Darren Jason Watkins Jr., also known as iShowSpeed.

Nyakwar Atonga shared his story on TikTok this Monday, calling it the luckiest day ever.

He said that the streamer's visit to Nairobi on Sunday, January 11, turned into a surprise score.

Fans were all over the city trying to get a peek of iShowSpeed, and Atonga's boda boda became their ride of preference.

It was wild, Atonga said. I was constantly riding around, carrying fans trying to get close to him. By the end of the day, I had made ten thousand shillings, which is more than I usually make in a week.

The rider added that he earned even more since many fans were willing to pay extra to follow the streamer.

Loads of passengers were even live-streaming the chase on social media, turning everything into a viral craze that got the attention of people both locally and abroad.

Atonga's story shows how celebrity visits can create unexpected money-making chances, especially in busy cities like Nairobi.

His experience has also started online chats, with many people cheering him on for his fast thinking and hard work during the crazy fan chase.

For Atonga, what started as a normal day at work became something special, all because of a popular influencer and a city of excited fans.
